The movie version of Civil War makes no sense. Literally everyone on Earth knows the identities of Iron Man, Capt America, Hulk, Thor, and most of the other heroes. They also constantly yell out each other's names while in combat. It's not really a secret like it is in the comics.

I find it really odd they are doing civil war in the movieverse because it lacks so much of the contextualizing elements of the comics. There's so much more at play in the full marvel universe than there is in the movieverse where there is basically just the avengers. The civil war plot made cap's side a lot more believable because it has shit like the X-men in it and their plots deal with mutation as a comic book version of being a fucking fag/nigger and dealing with lynch mobs and fundamentalists. Most mutants hide their shit so they can avoid dealing with normies beating their ass at school and the government deploying giant mutant hunting killer robots on their ass. Having a big federal list of all known superpowered individuals and their secret identities in a world where there is a popular kill all mutants sentiment is legitimately fucked up.

I don't know about that. From Iron Man 3, Stark was shown to be getting more paranoid. He knows he's just a man in a metal suit while all these other people are superpowered mutants, aliens and gods. Not every human can have a suit. We need some sort of protection from these overpowered beings. Stark's offscreen role in Winter Soldier, where he apparently helped build those new really fucking stupid and impractical helicarriers, shows he's focused on trying to protect humanity.

It was a long time since i last time watched them, i remember enjoying IM1 but i don't remember much about it. Something about killing iraqs or something. I don't even remember who was bad guy in 2nd. That's kinda big issue in these movies too, villains are so bland and forgettable. Loki was only fun one and he was stuck in those horrible Thor movies. I kinda liked Thor and Loki as characters, but damn, those movies were so baaad.
