Just go for an established broker that is regulated by the government like the SEC, FINRA etc. That means if your broker goes bust, atleast you'll get some form of compensation backed by the government.
It doesn't matter which broker you go with when you are first starting out. Also avoid review sites as they are mostly bullshit and have fake reviews (both positive and negative).
