Thanks to the smartphone era, you're not a weirdo anymore if you don't have Facebook. Instead you can say "add me on WhatsApp / kik / Snapchat / twitter / instagram / Skype" etc, and with the first three and the last one, the person wouldn't be able to see your friends list, so you can just download it and don't have to worry that they'll think you're a loser without friends (although on Snapchat it will show your 3 best friends based on most sent snaps)

Not necessarily. My sister and her slutty friends all have a "fake" facebook account in addition to their real one. On their fake facebook account they just upload the 6-7 pictures they want to use for Tinder and the biographical information and that's it. That way you don't have to run into the awkwardness of running into people you have added on facebook on tinder, and you don't have to give tinder all your information and shit.
