I like it, I can relate to the characters , you're right the plot is draw out but they just put a lot of backstory and detail into it that's why I like it.
Well I only watch anime to fall asleep to ( reading the subtitles helps me sleep ) But I do really really like parasyte. One of the best shows I've seen , even "real" ones

The beginning is the best part. It turns to shit really fast but the bridge arc at the beginning was pretty good. I quickly lost interest in it but I still like watching those episodes once in a while.
