I wouldn't tell myself anything anyway because the result would be either bad or nothing. Either I've traveled to an alternate timeline and will never feel the boon of my advice, or I've traveled to my own past and my advice will summarily erase my current consciousness as my whole past changes, and I'm not really interested in that.
