Nice Windows install you got there skiddie
Cracking is the most boring hobby every, what could be interesting about reading others source code and finding exploits?
I personally love playing around with as my atmega32, I think this is one of the best tech related hobbies
As someone who studies sys security, I listen to 80s music.
My course does not have a module on 90s trance and Gibson Hacking 101 so I feel as if I've made a bad choice.

Ytcracker and spamtec are the shit though
>>27124887
That's why I don't listen to them. Dual Core is more of a meme band with a very niche audience. I once went to a conference that dual core played at. Afterwards I went to a bar and dual core was there playing for the SAME CROWD.

Which Defcon was it? Or am I assuming too hard?
>>27124982
Nah, it was a bsides con. I'm going to Defcon this year though, my first. I wanted to go last year but didn't have a job that allowed vacation time. I get plenty of vacation at my new job. You going too?
>>27125055
Maybe, lots of time, not much money. it'd be my first as well

Bullshit apart, are the tools from distro Kali enough to perform a MiTM attack in a local network, or do you still need your own scripts (by arp spoofing)? Im not an "1337 haxor" like many posters here, but if someone already meddled with those I would like to know.
>>27121171
I'm impressed at the number of people not realising that this image is not truly entirely 100% seriously for real.
>>27128984
sure, but kali is a skid tool for people who can't write their own 0days
if you're serious about learning security, pwning.kr is a good resource, get IDA pro & learn windbg, and learn to use a python tool like pwntools for exploit delivery
>>27129113
Ah shit, python? I know C and a bit of java only...
Also never used wireshark (could not interpret the packages easily), and to be honest it would take me much time until I could make a decent script, many months probably (never hacked).

>>27129179
pwntools is just a way to deliver a shellcode payload automatically (navigate the menus or w/e on the remote box)
you can do it in strictly c but it's easier to just use something like pwntools
>>27129113
What hacking code does the anonymous hackers use??
