I'm not sure exactly. But when I finish a good series and feel depressed about my life or just the fact that something I enjoy has finished, I read through the tvtropes page, use akinator, read the Wikipedia plot summary, and so on. Maybe it maintains the magic of watching it, or maybe it just distracts me, but it makes me feel a bit better.
Since you can always pick something too obscure for it, I think the real challenges are: make it ask the largest number of questions while still guessing correctly, and choose a character that it can guess but that has been chosen by the fewest other people. On the second challenge, the best I've ever gotten was Heigan the Unclean (the Safety Dance boss from Naxx), which had been chosen like 20 other times.

how would u guys implement this?
i was thinking having a list with all the categories
e.g. [boy, youtuber, nigger ..], and then the questions are selected by choosing a random category.
of course, a category negates other categories (e.g. jew negates scheming)
so, the list would actually be a list of pairs, and the pair consists of the category, and a list of categories it negates
and each time the list is updated based on the criteria of the character
of course, there'd be more sophistication, but the elementary operations revolve around this list and another list which has all the characters with their specific categories
