I was driving back from California with a poker buddy of mine (we were tearing it up at the Morongo) when he said he was bored so he cursed me: Everytime you hear the word banana, you will lose the game.
It's 7 years later and I don't give a shit about the game, but everytime I see a banana or hear the word I lose the game.

Back in my high school days I would ditch class with a couple of my friends and go down to the park or just walk around in the woods behind school. We wouldn't say a word, we would just quietly walk through the forest and find our spot, a log by the river that we sat on and listened to music, smoke weed, and generally fuck around. This song instantly reminded me of it a couple days ago and I can't stop thinking about those good ol' days.

What have I done with my life
I remember a specific background on a Cingular flip phone I had as a kid that was basically a stock photo glass skyscraper thing and it was really blue like pic related and I still feel a weird giddiness when I see images like that
I also have a really vivid memory of being like 8-10 and waking up on a school day with the phrase "amber chain pendulum" in my head, and I remember thinking that would be a good name for a band
