I was a chronic daily marijuana user for about a year and change. I stopped cold turkey 32 days ago, no slip ups. I am 5'9 and about 145 pounds. I will be taking a pre-employment drug test (50 ng/l cutoff I'm assuming) either next Wednesday or Thursday.
Am I screwed?
No. The weed should've long since let's your system. If you want to be sure do a home drug test.

I took one a couple days ago when I found out about the test and got the two lines (one of them was faint but the box said that was negative), but I did some research on the home tests and there were a lot of negative reviews calling it "unreliable", so now I'm sort of freaking out drinking a lot of water etc. I think I'm just gonna buy two more tests tomorrow. If I get it 3 times surely I'm safe.

even if I was chronic daily for such a long time? I didn't face blunts or anything like that, just packed a one-hitter a few times a day. But I read 45 days or 60 days or even 90 days in some cases and that has me worried for my chances. I have to take this test by Thursday or they pull the offer which only gives me 37 days at best.

On a piss-test you have a good shot at being fine. However, the fact that you used daily for an extended period of time is working against you.
Let me share a personal anecdote with some sample sizes. I had smoked perhaps several dozen times over a past year (that is, on a regular, but definitely not daily basis), and I was obliged to immediately seek employment which required a piss test. My last smoke-incident was perhaps 3 weeks prior to the time of the piss test. The piss test came back negative, and I was hired. I breathed a sigh of relief. So I actually know for a personal fact that a few weeks will purge the system such that your own piss will pass so that you may have the privilege of wagecucking somewhere that doesn't trust you enough as an adult in the first place.
HAVING SAID THAT, your frequent usage works against you according to what I've read. You're taking a chance IIRC, even at a month out. But like me you felt/feel the need to take a chance, so this thread is in a sense moot. The other question is whether they share this information with other entities.
This is all for PISS. HAIR holds on to these things much, much longer. If someone wanted a hair from you, you'd be boned IIRC.

The form I received said "limit your intake of fluids the day of the test" which leads me to believe that it's pee. Your anecdote gives me a little hope especially if you were smoking in larger quantities than I was (I was smoking less than half a gram a day). I'm a bit paranoid about the testing center judging me because I have long hair and looking for a reason to pop me, maybe even giving me a hair test instead (I plan on wearing a nice shirt and slacks though).

Yeah I get that, but I've read on the internet that hair tests can be given anywhere and there really is no job too low for them despite their expensive nature. It's really random. But I do believe my test will be a pee test.
I have read that casinos test hair 100% of the time, which makes sense because of all the money being handled.

OP was smoking fucking weed every single day like a comfy fuck, for over a year. Now, all of a sudden, he's pulling himself up by his bootstraps because he's got his shit together? It's possible, but probably not. More likely, he's up against some sort of wall, and he needs work, fast. Such were my personal circumstances, in my own related stupidity.
My point is that OP (like I was) is probably in fairly dire straits such that he actually has to go through with this bullshit. He needs a job. And if he doesn't get this one, he's still going to need another job somewhere else, probably in the same area. And he had better hope that they don't share data about bad piss tests.
I'm being partly rhetorical but also partly realistic. In practice, I would not expect many companies to communicate cross-industry about the Joe Schmo who pissed positive. But it could easily be embedded in a fine print somewhere that you signed off on: "we reserve the right to share this information with other related businesses. Now piss, boy." Furthermore, I'm only thinking of America. I have no idea what the laws are like in France, Ireland, etc. I could very, very easily imagine some industry process somewhere for wagecucks where they (a retail industry sector, say, with lots of unskilled labor) legally exclude known drug users.
