I have plenty of hobbies. I am into your typical nerd hobbies: reading( actual books and comics), video games, computer hardware etc. I also have less traditional hobbies like origami and book binding. I've made my own paper before. Before I decided to try out university one last time I went to a trade school for a year to learn how to be a machinist and to weld. I even got hired as a structural welder for a bit. I'm currently enrolled in a uni for metallurgy. While there I joined the blacksmithing club and I'm learning the basics. I've learned foundry work and have cast a variety of metals and I'm planning on setting up my own home foundry when I graduate. I'm currently on an internship at a large steel mill getting job experience and good pay.
None of this has helped me in the romance department. I am still very single. It has helped in the friend department however. I now have a very large, nice friend base of people who I genuinely enjoy being around. Being interesting will help you attract people in general not just women.
