I like 7%+ craft brews and I can be happy with just 6 in a night. I feel a good buzz after number 3.
I don't drink much malt liqour any more but E40 is $5.50 and 10% abv. It actually doesn't taste bad and one 40 oz gets me feeling pretty good but I usually drink more on top of that.

I don't really know what the line is between 'getting drunk' and 'drunk'
The first time I drank more than two units of alcohol it was whiskey, and it was so much that I can't remember that night. It fucked me up and thankfully put me off drinking even more than I was. I think I got maybe an hour of being awake for it then I was on the floor unable to do anything then it was a few hours later and I was in the bathroom for the next 12 hours.
But yeah after 3 beers I actually feel like life isn't bad so that's where I stop because that kind of thinking is dangerous.

Don't know exactly. I always have shots first. Drinking lots of beer makes me have to piss constantly and doesn't get me plastered fast enough. At this point I'd probably have to drink a whole six-pack to go on just beer. It's much better to just top off with and to slow things down but still keep your buzz going.

I have had nights where I drink 6-8 and don't get past a little tingle. ans some nights where I have 2 or 3 beers and honestly feel like I'm about to pass out. Last time I did any heavy drinking I had 2 beers, 2 shots of absinthe 2 shots apple vodka and I don't even know how much wine we were drinking it out of a box someone was carrying around. I would never say I wasn't drunk but I was awake until the moment I decided to go to bed. So it isn't very consistent.
