I can definitely understand it. I've began to distance myself from friends over a period of three years now very gradually because I can't relate with them anymore, except for one. We've both drawn closer together and share many of the same views, and it has got to the point where I realised we are 'feeding' each other. I can see how that can turn volatile.

When I read their journals and hear people who knew them both talk about them, I can see similar traits and I can relate. I think many people can. I often wonder how much of it was inevitable and how much was down to their unique bond that enabled them to connect and reinforce the others impulsive urges. At what point did they cross the line and really decide on it? I imagine it started as some teen angst that boiled up but would have eventually subsided had they not fed one another.
