Nobody was brave and/or stupid enough to drink it again so I fiddled around with it. Turns out a couple generic black tea and 1tsp of instant coffee mellow each other out really well in a ~18oz. mug. It's nice if you ever happen upon shite coffee.
I enjoy beer because its relaxing to drink and can be tasty. Getting drunk off of something like whiskey or bourbon is more of an activity that you have to force yourself to do, because it tastes like poison and is extremely unpleasant to ingest. I've gotten drunk off of all kinds of different hard liquor plenty of times, I'm by no means an inexperienced drinker.
However with beer I can relax and not have to force myself to drink anything. I can just sit back with a video game or a movie or something and down a couple beers no problem.
However I did stop drinking/buying beer because drinking like 6 bottles of that shit every time I wanted to get drunk is really really bad for me, and I can't afford to eat/drink like that since I hate exercising so much. Its a lot less calories and shit if I just drink some straight Jack instead so that's what I do these days.

Exactly, I've found that the Jack Daniels with honey in it is something I can actually stand to drink straight without any juice or soda, so I'll probably do that for the foreseeable future. As for beer: I don't particularly like the taste of cheap lager but I drink it once a month or so anyway. Rarely feel like getting drunk but it happens. Nice dark ale can be extremely tasty though, except for most IPA shit. Much prefer dark and moderately but not excessively sweet ale.

Admittedly, beer doesn't taste as good as many other drinks; I'd certainly rather have a nice root beer (fuckin Virgil's) than a normal beer if I'm just drinking for taste. However, the combination of taste, refreshment, fullness, and intoxication that comes from drinking a beer is what makes it great. Only women drink mixed drinks and wine (outside of meals) anyways; I go for a couple beers and some Jagermeister straight when I want to get hammered.
