I'm starting to lose interest in vidya and its making me realize how much i relied on them for entertainment, i sit here bored as fuck sometimes just scrolling through my steam games, i have well over 100 and have no interest in playing any. Anyone else having this issue

I stopped playing vidya because I would waste so many hours everyday and when I was done I would regret every second of it. It's helped with having more time to do stuff in my day, but I still waste too much time on series+the 4chan. Need to get my shit together robots
Get into films, specificaly thinking films ie czech new wave, so much more rewarding.
I'll play maybe 10 minutes every few weeks and then I'll think about what else I could be doing with my time. Then I exit the game feeling stupid.

no, I just switch to a different form of entertainment when one bothers me. Books, tv shows, anime, etc. Also make sure to do plenty of real life stuff like exercise, cooking, studying etc so you enjoy the times you can relax and play / watch / read.

I'm a console gamer (I know, I know) so it's too expensive to a lot of games. Sucks that I don't have friends to borrow from.
Movies are a cheaper hobby and I enjoy it more consistently. Cheap parts of games only feel worth it if the story is great, IMO.

Every so often I feel this way. I just don't play video games for awhile and will typically read several novels as well as watch a few seasons of anime. After some time off from video games I can come back to them with renewed vigor.
