Shibes seem a bit retarded but I never met one irl.
>>27069898

>>27069981
so r9k should be in heaven?
>>27070457
what would you do when seeing this?
>>27070424
I work at a Dog Kennel and my neighbors own one
They're pretty much like cats, don't really play or do much, very stoic but they like when you pet them
maybe the owners just suck, I've met a lot of dogs that don't know how to play because their owners never taught them how to play (it's a real thing, I didn't know about it before I started working)

Call my local fire house :3
>>27070424
shibas are supposedly one of the most intelligent species of dogs if you train them right
>>27070529
that's quite interesting to know. I always thought that dogs inherently have an instinct for playing games. just like every animal. human beings included.
another stuck doge
>>27070607
Wow, those doges sure like being stuck huh?
>>27070584
I know. I mean if you have a puppy you can teach him to play no problem, but like a 5 year old dog that nobodies played with? throw it a ball and it just gives you a dumb look
Really annoying when people buy a dog that you're really supposed to play with but treat it like a walking pooping petting machine
meta, very meta
>>27070631
you don't even know the half of it, man.
actually cats do the same dumb shit all the time but shibe takes the cake
>>27070529
>They're pretty much like cats, don't really play or do much
That's because, like cats, they're extremely difficult to train. They're a very independent breed of dog, highly intelligent though.
>>27070631
I guess you could say they're bred for it
>>27070678
Yeah, I understand that
The reason the ones that come into my work are generally boring dogs are because >>27070652
As I said there, most people buy a dog because they want a fluffy thing to pet, training is optional as long as the dog shits outside
>>27070652
I understand. so if it's a foreign object like a ball they won't play with it at first unless you teach them. that would mean instinctive playing is just play-fighting with their mates then but even that is taught through interacting with another dog, I guess.
>>27070771
well it's all training really
When puppies come in they'll bite your hands or your coat (not trying to hurt you or anything, just to bite something)
You have to teach them what's OK to bite and not, a toy bone, a ball, all that stuff, puppies will bite
If a dog grows up and never really played as a puppy, when it sees a ball as an adult, it won't care because it doesn't feel the need to chew something 24/7 as it's no longer a pup
Dogs will play until a pretty old age, but if they're not taught at a young age it's really tough to get them to do stuff
