I am a huge Trump supporter for my own reasons of both the absurdness of it, as well as an emerging more nationalistic movement going on within the United States. I am currently dating a Mexican boy who lives in Mexico City and see twice a year (and frequently skype/talk to).
He is staunchly against Trump and claims he wants to bring war citing one interview. What should I say to counter this? Is his nationality alone enough to prevent him from changing his opinion? I dont hate Mexicans obvisiously and I dont think they should be deported in masses, but I believe securing the border will prevent crime and drug abuse.
