How do you pronounce meme?
Some guy in my class was announcing to anyone that could hear that he loved a "me-me" from facebook.
Do you pronounce it as "me-me" or meem?
I personally use the latter, like bernie https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Dx-OuBCa08
It's pronounced meem.
it's always been one syllable, it's derived from the word gene. Anyone saying "maymay" is as retarded as saying "jaynay"
two-syllable fags came about in 2015 because they liked Pepe, which is two syllables, because it's Spanish

It depends from the audience
If you speak an anglophone audience (es. English) it's spelled meem
If you are speaking to a latin audience (such as Italians or spanish) is maymay, because in those languages the word gene it's spelled jaynay
I say meh-meh and none of you can convince me otherwise.
A stupid but hot girl at work once pronounced it
>mee-mee
I really wasn't sure if I was supposed to correct her or not so I contained my power level
It's supposed to rhyme with gene, as is it is an idea that is inherited like a gene. Richard Dawkins invented the term in the 70's.

i've heard some spanish radio hosts talking about memes and they do say mee mee. That's pretty funny. Maybe that's why that guy pronounced it that way.

No, it's an abbreviated transliteration of a greek word. That greek word is pronounced "mimeyma"
