I pay very close attention to the rituals, and I make a concerted effort to understand their nuances as well as I can. When I do see a normie giving advice that makes sense to me, I take it to heart. I don't want to be a socially restricted loser forever. To make it in this world, you need to have some of these skills.
It's a good idea to observe and communicate with people who are socially successful, and learn from them. Often they can't really explain what they're doing, because they don't understand it themselves. But don't get offended. Your only goal is to try to learn for your own sake.
Start with men. Unless you're viewed as potential competition for females, interacting with males is much easier and simpler, more direct. Talking with girls is more challenging and nuanced. They communicate indirectly in many ways.
