Can vouch for this. In any women dominated liberal arts class I was forced to take as a Gen En requirement, the women were by and large silent during debate and in-class discussion. When they finally did chime in to voice their opinions it would just be some anecdote about working in a day care or for social services. The things they said we're rarely based in fact and trying to debate with them was like walking on egg shells to avoid setting off their temperment and muh oppression trigger.
Me and one other bro had a good, respectful back and forth quite frequently whereas the women would do nothing other than interpret your argument as if it were an insult or your own personal point of view, even if I were just playing the Devil's advocate that day.
