If you're talking for generally living well, probably between like 5'8 and 6'2 for men, and about 5' to 5'6 for women.
Anything above 6'3 and you start not fitting into smaller cars (I have issues with some particularly small ones at 6', have to hunch), and anything below like 5'8 people are going to think you're quite small.
For women, below 5' and you have issues buying clothes that aren't just kids clothes (had a gf with this issue once), and above 5'6 you start to have to limit whether you wear heels to events, because if you've got a 4" heel on, and you're 5'8, most guys (like 90% or so) are going to look like they're short next to you, which you obviously don't want.
But by internet standards, minimum 6'3 for guys to not be noticably short, and literally anyone who'll fuck me is okay for women.

We're quite tall here. I'm 191cm and I'm among the shorter people in my family (my mom&sis is as tall as me). In my view the gap is all that really matters. If you're short I get that you might find it weird.
