Think of it the other way around.
"BUILD YOUR IDEAL GIRL"
Immediately you think of an average girl. What your perception of "average" will vary, but you immediately think of a 5/10. Then you add the traits afterwards.
When, in reality, what the question is REALLY asking, is "you have a 1/10 girl. now you have a certain amount of "points" to make her as close to a 10 for you as possible".
Maybe women are happy with an "average" guy who is smart, funny, and faithful. Or maybe their perception of an "average" guy is really high. Or maybe they're just fucking retarded.
But I guarantee you that if the question was worded differently... something like, "THIS UGLY PIECE OF SHIT IS AN AUTISTIC, MANLET, VIRGIN LOSER WITH A 1 INCH DICK. HERE ARE $5 TO MAKE HIM BETTER" that they would go with great body, and good-looking. I guarantee it.

Or it's simply being on a tight budget. You get that $5 only, and the good stuff is expensive. A smart shopper gets more of the cheap stuff. Plus number 5, faithful, is really baseline; without it the guy will leave you by default and no other traits matter.
