Nights are great. The streets are empty, I feel like I'm the only human in town. Everything's quiet and calm. And it's all nice and dark which is strangely calming. Only downside is that if you do meet other people it's more tense than usual.

I think I'm at a crossroads in my life. I've come to the point where stuff isn't as enjoyable as it was when I was younger. I've decided to sell my runescape accounts and will soon probably sell off my steam accounts because I pretty much only play them out of habit now. I need to focus on schoolwork and becoming a mature adult and self-improvement in general. I started dieting on Friday because I realized I have a weight problem (320 lbs) and so far I'm doing a good job and have lost roughly 3 lbs. I guess I just figured the anonymity and less autistic nature of /r9k/ would be better to post this in than /b/.

I've watched maybe 70% of the whole railway lines in Japan... What I do is go on google earth and find an area that could be interesting, see if there's a railway and get its name.. I lived in a flat in downtown London by Russel Square one summer. In the evenings it was the comfiest place I've ever been so far in my life. Down the street was an Italian restaurant my friends and I would get a great meal where the waiters were so friendly, they would stay up talking to us after they were closed, drinking shots of limoncello and just laughing the whole night together.
There was also a great pub nearby and the flat itself was just a couple blocks from the British library and the museum, where I spent a lot of time.
Anyways, come evening in the flat, I would get together with my friends and we would drink or talk, or just hang out.
When it was late, I would say goodnight to everyone, usually with a few drunken hugs, and retire to my room and put on my noise cancelling headphones and put on a really chill playlist.
Those evenings I would always go to bed with a smile on my face, in the company of great friends and knowing that everything was right with the world.
