2010
Dad was on the wagon, I had the most friends I'd ever had in my life. This was the year I felt the least ignored and the most acknowledged. I went on cool vacations and there just things happening.
School was awesome, in the summer everyone would just fuck around in the forest on our school field. There were no grills in my life (still aren't now) since I went to an all boys HS (kill me). But I didn't give a flying fuck about being a KV at the time since I was only 13/14 at the time (I'm 18 now faggots, inb4 mods).
Family life was good, school life was good, didn't care about girls or sex or anything like that which plagues my mind every day now. No pressures to get a job, vidya was still fun. I even enjoyed the Fifa World Cup that was going on in the summer, and I hate Football/Soccer whatever.
Now I have fucking nothing. Everything is fucked and I'm just distracting myself and hiding from life at this point. I know it's an edgy thing to say especially when I'm only 18. I guess I should get off my ass and try and live life, or just an hero, one of those things.

2011 was the last good year of my life. Had an awesome group of IRL and online friends that all spoke to each other. We did a fun little podcast. We all played video games together and we had a good fucking time.

Anything pre 2012, that seems to have been the year smartphones and social media finally choked the last spark of life out of the internet.

2000-2007 were the golden years of the internet. Post 2007 internet is a shell of what it was even if there have been improvements in a lot of places. They were also years where you could take risks and have the potential for them to pay off for a lot things
