I honestly have trouble understanding this guy's psychology.

He's so vehement, bombastic, inconsistent, contradictory, and unpredictable that he's really frustrating when you try and follow him. I'm not sure the leadership of the free world could be laid into the hands of someone who doesn't appear stable or balanced.

What's his deal?

Since Ronald Reagan the B-movie actor, the presidential office has no standards.
>>
I would vote Trump without question just so we have a powerful charismatic white man in office to restore national confidence/sanity but I honestly don't think he's going to do any of the shit he said he will.

get into office through attentionwhoring
make mad cash for himself

thats about it

You're finally noticing there's a difference between what you have seen and what people are telling you.

/pol loves him but it just seems like a bad idea. He's very good at insulting people, but like Bernie seems to lack a fundamental understanding and/or an ability to compromise.

The line between media and presidential campaigns is pretty much non-existent anymore, so everything you read tends to be sensationalist or it wouldn't attract views.

A lot of what Sanders and Trump do is they've identified a large chunk of the population who is stupid enough to follow their bullshit, but also has been voicing concerns that have been ignored by the mainstream political crowd/news for a while. Unfortunately this includes tumblr-grade feminists and white supremacists from the bible belt, but just like everyone else they have a vote and can use it as they see fit.

Sounds like you just accurate described Cluster B personality OP. Men can have it too.
>>
The media has done nothing but run a giant smear campaign against him since the start, if you watch his rallies, his interviews, read his policies, he makes a ton of sense.

This explains him pretty well

In all honesty, from an European's point of view, Bernie sounds the most likely to accurately decide when to compromise or not. And that's more important than being corrupt. Like Hillary Clinton is.
>>
>>26990180
I've watched them, they don't make sense, get out and shut up with the smear campaign.
>>
>>26990180
More like they've done nothing but make him the only Republican candidate normies know about.
>>
Don't listen to a fucking thing the media says about Trump. They have been running a huge smear campaign against him since day 1. Read his stances on his site, watch a few interviews and rallies then decide for yourself what you think of Trump.

I work in the financial sector and from our perspective Bernie just lacks understanding. Hillary may be corrupt, but she won't disrupt the status quo and opens her legs for donors.

The last thing we need is a president who has zero financial experience going in and muddling up markets. One of the ten points of his financial policy is capping ATM fees. It just doesn't make sense.

In terms of social issues, I don't give a fuck. But dabbling with socialism with no experience in financial markets or even economics and saying "it just works!" frightens me and the rest of the Street.

donald trump is the scrawny awkward white guy on TV shows that goes up to a group of black kids who laugh at him at first, only to silence them when it turns out he's great at dancing/basketball/etc. bernie is the one that would go up to them and say "I respect you as my equals and acknowledge that I benefit from white privilege."
>>
He's riding on the coat tails of white supremacy worn by angry, white Americans.

>zero financial experience going in and muddling up markets
many presidents have come in with zero financial experience and have done well by the market like Coolidge, Harding, and Johnson. That's why they have experts.

I personally think Bernie at least understands the general direction that the US needs to go contrary to Trump who I can't really seem to find any direction at all. But honestly, Clinton is the most likely to win anyways.
>>
He's a top tier manipulator that is immune to criticism.
I'm jelly as fuck.
>>
>>26990250
Well, I understand your point of view, believe me, I do. But being corrupt is the reason most European countries have been through economic crisis, and that, again and again, makes the system not work. My country's right wing is still left wing though. We care about virtuosity above all else and have an older culture and we are more "experienced", if that makes sense. Also, China has already surpassed the US in terms of world power, they own most of the US debt (I think). Sounds unreasonable to vote for trump just because he can into business. But, you have the right to do what you want desu.
>>
>>26990127
It's sad because I agree with most of his policies. It's his childish, petulant attitude and his disrespect for the office he's running for that put me off. A president needs to be dignified, and Trump is anything but
>>
>>26990312

Markets are unfortunately far more complex nowadays. I think Tim Geithner tried to do his best on the regulation side, but was left with a huge mess to start with. I'm very wary of anyone who claims to understand markets.

>>26990324

Yes, most of the street actually hates trump because his business creds are non existent. I don't expect good policy from him if elected.
>>
He's treating his campaign like a brand or a product. He incorporates the most relevant and sensitive subjects into it to give it the most amount of attention possible.
