When you're nice to girls but not attractive, they label you as a "nice guy" who's just after sex.
It's happened to me before.
Sex was the last thing on my mind.

I wanted to spend hours just laying next to her, looking at the stars.

Yes, and it'd have meant the world to me, because we were there together.

Plus you're wrong. If you want to like someone they you should be able to tolerate their negative qualities. No matter how much you focus on the positives the negatives will always grate on you and make the relationship tedious and unhealthy.
