I ended up being persuaded to go to a bunch of normie bars and nightclubs last night and while I never did anything embarrassing, I had the most awful boring time and spend a-fair-bit of money for a neet. I woke up the next day after getting drunk with the worst head-ache, feeling ill and feelings of guilt and anxiety. I could not get back to sleep due to the constant thoughts of the crappy music and obnoxious people there.
Now I do not blame my close friend for taking me but I do not understand how normies can do this sometimes multiple times a week and call it fun.
Stay away robots if you ever get the offer and wonder what you are missing out on, boring and obnoxious as fuck, expensive and its truly not worth the hangover the next day. I wish I just stayed in and played cs instead.

The only time in my life I went to a club, it was my cousin's 18th birthday. When I arrived at the club his friends were kinda hostile and stopped me at the garden's entrance, then before I could change my mind and leave, my cousin saw me from afar and he let me in, the guys kept glaring at me from the distance. When I was inside I saw random chips and jars and bottles of unknown alcoholic drinks everiwhere, just the smell was enough to give me stomachache. My cousin introduced me to a friend of his who was suppsedly a "nerd like me" and we talked for one minute (literally) about wc3, then he got busy with some stuff at the bar; I saw a huge hi-fi set which was blasting at full volume since I arrived there, it was connected to a pc; I was the only one without any company at that moment and it felt very awkward, everyone else was either dancing with girls or laughing with friends, my cousin was making out with his gf; to try fit in I just sat near the pc and started fucking around with the audio player interface to look busy (without affecting the songs that were playin of course, just clicking around), I noticed that few people kept glaring a me for a while, for some reason when I removed my hat they stopped (no, it wasn't a fedora.. it was a normal brandless hat you can get for $5 from any bootleg vendor). Everyone was dressed either in emo fashion or gothic, I realized that I was kinda out of place, they probably despised my style (casual). A few minutes later a guy approached me, trying to start a conversation he sat besides me, he was friendly; he asked me how to change songs and I showed him, then after changing song he left again. I sat there for the rest of the time, when it was 23:30 I decided to leave, I really wanted to run away earlier to be honest but I thought it'd make my cousin feel bad if I left without notice.

I went outside where everyone moved, since inside was getting too hot; my cousin was making out again with his gf so I decided to just leave at once. The gate was locked and I couldn't go out, so I asked to one of the guys how to open and without reply he turned around and walked to my cousin, he had the keys. My cousin looked visibly irritated after getting interrupted during his smooching session (if it were a subbed anime, his sentence would definitely be "Tch..."), my cousin forced a smile and came to open the gate, I finally letting me leave.
It was an horrible experience, I'm 3 years older than my cousin and KHHV, he had a gf from ever since I can remember, everyone else at the party was probably the same. I really didn't want to go but because it was his 18th birthday and because I didn't attend any of his previous birthdays for like 6 years (most of the times I was working or wasn't invited, who even invites their relatives after their 10th birthday anyway), I decided to attend because I thought he would be happy, after all it was him who contacted me first on FB, I don't know if he invited me out of courtesy or because my grandma asked him (very likely, knowing her), maybe if I didn't register on FB he would probably forget about me (I was registered for less than a year at the time, because of work), that was probably for the better tho.

I went to a club once when I was 17 for my friend's 18th. I had to use a friend's ID who was 22 years old and looked nothing like me but I got in somehow despite my babyface. Me, him, and another guy were really good friends so they actually stayed with me all night and didn't abandon me. I was an ultra shut-in at the time, didn't drink or smoke, so I just hung around while they took shots, but I managed to pretend like I was having a good time anyway. The most memorable part of that night was when one of my friends told a girl that I thought she was hot as a joke, she laughed and said something to him and he wouldn't tell me what she said. Apart from that, it wasn't that bad of a night in terms of social awkwardness. But I haven't been to a club since and I'm never going again, no matter who it is or what they tell me. Fucking normies.

I hate clubbing, I spent age 19-24 drunk every weekend and wasting all my money and believing it was the only way I could get a girlfriend, in total I must have made out with about 8 or 9 different girls, usually I couldn't remember and although I got their phone numbers, they were never bothered about communicating after the night was over.
It made be miserable and depressed that these girls wanted nothing to do with me, I thought we had a connection, tongue wrestling all night and letting me feel their ass and stuff.

I agree I've been to a bunch of clubs it sucks. Even strip clubs are pretty shit. I just spend a fuck tonne of money and get hungover.

I think it really depends on where you are, most major cities in UK have pretty decent club scenes, if you regularly go out you learn the type of people that go in different clubs, what music they play etc.. I never go too studenty or high-brow but never scummy and there are tons near me. My first ever positive experience considering I'm a complete loser, Friday night in this bar with dance area, very drunk but still compus-mentus, went sat down next to this lady mid 30's, asked her for a dance, and it went from there :)

Clubs are generally awful, working there is even worse too.
I've worked the bar at a club, not only are most people a drunken slur when they try to order drinks, the music blasting makes it even more incomprehensible and the sluts at the bars will always order cocktails which take up time to make when you have to serve 40 other people and there's 'usually' only 2 other people on the same station. Doesn't help with flashing lights and camera lights fucking your eyes up. The VIP area upstairs was much less noisy and less people to serve, but that's a different case.
There's always something happening between people smashing glasses/bottles, getting into fights with each other or giving shit to staffluckily bouncers inside can chuck them outand people puking/getting paramedics called out because they overdosed or drunk too much. The aftermath is the worst bit, after you finish at about 3am, the place is a complete mess of puddles and rubbish.
Only thing which kept me there was the pay was decent and I could rake in around 200 quid in tips depending how busy it was.
