I've gotten so many angry texts/e-mails from past coworkers and people that I've gone to school with because of this. I don't even feel guilty after reading them either, I'll just scan through the insults and angry comments, delete said message and move on with my day.
I can't really explain it, it's just, I feel like I have to be somebody else in the public eye. Even around "friends" this has always been the case. It might have something to do with my severe bullying and neglect as a child, but I've never gone to get myself checked out.
Anyways, after awhile, I just get tired of putting on this a bullshit facade and instead, quit said job, cut all contact with people and never look back.
I can never last at a job longer than 6-12 months because of this. I'm constantly changing jobs, and constantly entering and exiting peoples lives.

Buy yourself some japanese curry bricks/boullion. There's brands on normal grocery store shelves like Golden Curry and sometimes Vermont curry.
Then buy potatos, any kind works and you can peel or dont peel them. Chop them up a bunch though.
Then get the meat, that also has a few choices. You can do cubed beef, or stir fry strips, or even just buy beef chuck and cut it up more yourself. I like the chuck best cause its a bit fatty and considered a cheap/shitty piece of meat. It just goes better in curry/stews.
Anyway boil the diced taters. Meanwhile brown the meat cubes. Its nice to make them rare cause they'll cook more next. Once the taters are soft (dip a spoon into the pot to test their softness by pressing one against the side wall), pour in the meat, try not to get the meat grease in.
Optional:
Add carrots, peas, or diced onion at this point. Some weebs even like to skin tomatos and drop them in too.
Break up the desire amount of curry bricks/boullion in and reduce heat to low or even off, stir it constantly.
JP curry gets better the longer it sits, so make your rice during this, or after. I even have a friend who just immediately fridges the curry till the next day. No troll, it gets better as it sits. This is why this stuff makes fucking amazing leftovers.
Serve it like in weeb anime either over the rice or half and half with the rice in the bowl/plate. Congrats.
