I like it when things fall into place. You know, when plans don't change, people do what they say they're going to do, and things work how they're supposed to. I know most people like this, but it's more that I become a mentally unstable wreck of tears if things get too "out of line" and it becomes overwhelming.

Today I leafed through my thesis and smiled. Then I went back to brooding.

Seeing my life-long love interest. I'm practically a beta orbiter, but she comes over for dinner and shit sometimes.
Also my dog and cat. Elvis (dog) always greets me when I return and looks out the window with me when I start my meditation. Priscilla (cat) always jumps on top of me, lays down, and naps. It's comfy and helps me fall asleep better. They're pretty much my only friends, but they're just about all the socializing I need.

It's better than any drug I've tried and it makes for a more interesting past time than films, books, music or video games. I've taken to spending my weekends immobile in bed and were it not that I need money to live I imagine I would spend my weekdays doing the very same, I can't wait to retire.
