I wouldn't be so quick to judge. IMO, there's probably at least two types of NEETs. The shut-in types who are either sponging off of someone which sometimes have legit mental disorders.
But, there are also the ones that have freed themselves from the grind and now can take as much time off as they need. They can afford to travel, and do all of those nice things. Being in this second category is where you want to be.

I used to be a wagecuck, and at least back then I had opportunities to meet people, make friends, get my dick wet. Sure there was a lot of frustration with the work itself but the highs were high and the lows were low. Same thing with being in college.
Now these days I'm stuck in a self-imposed prison cell in the shape of my childhood bedroom in my parent's house and nothing ever changes, nothing is exciting, even that dramatic screaming match I had with my old stupid mother on her birthday barely felt any different than any other day of her nagging me to wake up and look for a job.
