People on 4chan like to harp on about how 4chan's lack of usernames and karma mean that people can state their arguments without fear of the hivemind, but honestly everyone just tells you to kill yourself a lot.
Niche communities built around specific interests. You don't have to visit the default subreddits.
I've tried numerous times to use it, but I never stay longer than a couple days.
I look at the front page like I use google news.
I use the subreddits for games when they are the main forum for them.

It's the most customizable porn site in the world. There is a sub for almost everything.
Now I can browse all my favorite porn without leaving and dealing with caner sites with virus ads.
It's a larger site so there's more interesting stuff there than here.

I do not post or comment or upvote things though, I don't participate in the community at all, it can just be interesting sometimes and you can have everything in one place

It's well sorted, well-populated, and it has (niche) pornographic content that arouses me greatly. Those are the fundamental reasons.
Well-sorted means that if I want to look at pictures of girl's thighs or 2D girls wearing black tights or youtube videos of ASMR or whatever then I can just go to the subreddit dedicated to [topic] and it will most likely exist and be filled with thousands of posts / images / videos directly related to what I am looking for (because the site is well-populated with a huge userbase).
I'll also take this opportunity to mention how the negative aspects of Reddit can be avoided. If you sent someone from 4chan to Reddit, the first thing they'd see is the front page filled with posts from the "Default subreddits" (boards that the admins have pinned to the front page as, you guessed it, defaults). Virtually all of the default subs are complete garbage with nothing but youtube, funnyjunk, 9gah-g tier shit. You unsubscribe from them then subscribe to the places you want instead. All those moronic posts about memes and bacon and atheism still happen, but you don't see it because you choose what you see.
The comment sections of Reddit posts are a circlejerk. That much is true but I (rarely) go there for the comment sections. Any named forum will never have the same level of freedom that a psuedoanonymous imageboard like 4chan has. You just have to recognize that there is a site-wide bias and liberal agenda that permeates reddit. Once you are aware of it, you can judge things better.

I know you didn't say this OP, but people always say this and it is worth addressing. There is a wealth of well-sorted content out there right now on Reddit. Content that you personally will LOVE (either on a sexual level or a hobby-level or on some level you didn't even know about) but that you are missing out on by not browsing reddit.
Think about how stupid it is to deny yourself so much good content because anonymous 4chan strangers told you it was uncool to browse reddit as well as 4chan and that if you browsed reddit then you would have a smaller epeen. As you get older you will realise how monumentally stupid it is to let other people dictate what websites you should and should not browse.
The genie will never be back in the bottle. There will NEVER be a day when all posters who also browse red-dit fuck off eternally and what is left is a utopia of 'pure' 4chan posters who return this website to the highest heights of glory. This website gets millions of posts a month. You cannot control the direction and development of the community of this website. You have to recognize that this website isn't some monolithic, static object; it is constantly changing as the posters change and as time passes.
This site will change. It might get better or it might get worse but all you can do is just sit tight and go along with the ride.
