This is a really great question for most of R9K, although for some of R9K they probably have some medication or mental disorder or physical problem that would disqualify them.
I was in the navy for 4 years as a cook. If you think most of the people join the military with even a 1% of dying than you are retarded desu so fuck off with the dying for the jews meme. The military is filled with shitbags and mongoloids but for your average POG in a comfy position it is not too bad. As a navy cook I had to work pretty tough hours, but the bennies were nice and it taught me a lot of valuable skills. It also transformed me from an awkward skinny 20 year old kv to a respectable 24 year old with a bright future.
Its not for everyone but for most of R9K it would do them a lot of good.

It's an easy gig that got me out of my parent's house plus you don't have to pay for housing or food so I'm just saving up all of my money for when I get out in 3 years. I need to figure out what I'm going to do when I leave though, all of these people who have been in for like 8 years who ETS somehow have never even thought of their future until like one month before they get out and now they're fucked

You get more money but it balances out because you have to work way, way longer than Enlisted members around your same age plus a lot more is expected from you with barely anyone there to hold your hand or congratulate you.
And right now the military has a bulk of useless officers who are getting kicked out so unless if you're in great physical fitness and have a great GPA I wouldn't bother

I already did. I'm in the Air Force. It's not terrible, but I'm glad I only did four years. While I'm in, I plan to get as many certs and classes done while I can so I'll have plenty of education and four years of job experience when I get out. I'm in IT so you don't even NEED a degree but I figure I should really get mine as it'll help with career scalability and give me more options.
