Oh yeah totally. Mostly happens at heroic doses. I once had it when I ODd on 2c-t-7, not fun. at one point I thought I was a chicken and also a black woman. Heavy delirium. I was also chased by a weird goblin and I jumped though a neighbor's glass window. Still have scars as souvenirs. They needed 3 dudes to restrain me and I spent 3 days at a psych ward because they thought I was psychotic and they didn't find anything on the drug test. Tripping restrained(handcuffs iirc) in a hospital with no sense of self is absolute hell, where I literally believed I was. One hell of a bad trip.

With tryptamines like LSD and psilocybin the sense of self becomes looser as the occupation of the serotonin receptors with the drugs dampens activity between regions of the brain, explaining the physical/visual and mental discombobulation.
This can reach such a level that the normal brain activity which creates a discrete sense of you as an individual as well as even concepts like language and form break down. You experience varying sensations of being but the being isn't you, its just clouded mixed up mental activity.
It can be terrifying or very interesting and liberating, it can be hard entering this state and coming to without blacking out however.
The coming back is often the hardest as you realize that your "you-ness" is a construct dependent on complex biological systems, normality can seem a bit unreal and dream-like for a while.
Large doses are more likely to create these experiences- lemon tekked mushies for instance, an MAOi inhibitor will enhance the intensity of the experience exponentially (uncomfortably so).
