Humble brag here, being good at your job when you work with highschool chicks actually makes you attractive to them. Got a date with a 17 year old qt comin up. Fast food life is easy peasy when youre young. Im 20 now but once I get up to 23 working there is going to look sad more than anything. Ill probably be manager soon though.

Last job I had was in a kitchen doing prep. I'm literally the easiest person to get along with in a kitchen... I always say "yes", I don't give people shit for taking smoke breaks, I hardly ever show a bad mood, etc. I'm a straitlaced guy, definitely a goody-goody by kitchen standards. So I'm always the outcast at whatever restaurant I'm working with. I don't get invited to the parties, I know that people talk shit about how weird I am behind my back, and that's OK by me, because I'm not into the whole scummy cook persona.
Anyway, this one older Mexican cook, who was the nastiest of them all as far as sense of humor goes, fucked with everybody but me. I never understood why. He seemed like the guy who would hate me at this restaurant. He's the guy who rides his bike across town from his other kitchen job to work overnight shifts... just fucking mercilessly slaying the line every day and probably sleeping for like 4 hours. Meanwhile, I'm the young prep cook who drives down the street to essentially get the kitchen ready for him.
One day, this cook-- let's call him Juan-- pulled me aside. Juan looked at me with absolute despair and asked why I'm always judging him. I was so confused then, but now I realize what he meant by this. The baddest-ass cook in the restaurant didn't fuck with me because he respected me, feared me even.
I'm not the fastest cook, but I am definitely thorough. I always work hard and never bitch. I guess that Juan, despite being so much more skilled, actually saw value in me.

That shit happens at target too. I think it's just a thing. People make snap judgements and untill you correct it they just assume. Its not always so bad though. Had a co-worker that gave a didn't like me vibe. She never did anything directly but was always kinda standoffish. We we're both closing electronics once (6:30 to 11). We both talked for awhile and found out she was kinda cool. Called her out in a joking way about being a jerk. She laughed it off "oh anon". We talk more. Tell her she owe's me one for being a jerk. More awkward joke flirting. She tells me after the LOD passes to go to the bathroom in the back but don't lock it. She ends up blowing me in the bathroom. Surprisng that we didn't get caught since we were the only employee for the back section of the store (electronics, toys, and vidya). The best part was her telling me how much bigger I was than her ex/baby daddy. Besides that target has a 5 year nightmare. I don't think I'll ever get another bj at work.

I work with a guy who constantly criticizes what I do and I dont get why. I do things his way but he'll tell me off for things I haven't even done yet.
Like when I'm about to do something, he'll tell me to do it a specific way and freak out about it all "No no" but I was going to do it that way.
Like we were reorganizing the office and I pull the next thing out the cupboard and name it and he's like "No, no. Don't ditch that! Don't go and dump that." and goes on a lecture about why it's important. I wasn't even going to dump it, I just mentioned it. I did it with another item and he goes on a lecture about how I should ask if people need it, and why I shouldn't just dump things willy nilly because they may be important in the future.
I was going to keep that item. Is it just something I give off? That I'm not capable?
