I really fucking miss this dog.
His name was Jake and he had bounced from rescue centre to homes and back to rescue centres his whole life as he was abused as a pup and the result was a dog so nervous that he would pull his own fur out and scratch himself until he bled.
Then I met him and took him home and since I live a quiet life, he finally relaxed and his fur regrew, he looked so content just being part of my little world, we went everywhere together. I was going out with a girl who didn't like me bringing him to her place because he smelled (he did to be fair, nothing could get rid of the aroma that he gave out but it was just part of who he was) so I ended up breaking up with her.
Not long after that he was attacked by another dog and even though the injuries weren't life threatening, it was the final straw that broke him mentally and within a few months he needed to be put down.
It's been nearly 2 years and I still think of him every day, not a more gentle and wonderful creature have I ever met.
I have another dog now and we're bros and it's cool but I miss my jake so much.

This was the day he was put down, I took him to our favourite spot by the river, he would just stand there and stare for ages, watching the world pass by.
On the way back we stopped by a burger van and I got him a half pound bacon cheeseburger.
It went terribly at the vets, he kept squirming so they couldn't hit a vein and then there was blood everywhere and he was clearly distressed so they sedated him but he was so big that it didn't work properly and the whole thing took too long and made it all harder than it already was and it haunts me, I've seen family members die and shrugged it off but this was brutal.

Starting to think I have guilt/confession related ocd.
It popped up out of nowhere last year. All the weird shit I've done throughout my life, the stuff that makes me cringe, is now constantly in my head, telling me that I need to confess it to someone.
If I try to ignore it or rationalise what I'm feeling by thinking 'it's really not that important, get over it' then I get overcome with waves of crushing guilt, and to be honest I'm strongly considering suicide because I can't spend the rest of my life dealing with this everyday.
Is there any way I can fix myself? I just want to go back to how it was before, when I could think of my past mistakes and say 'not my proudest moment, but oh well' and maybe even have a laugh at how weird and autistic I used to be.

Dogs really don't die easy, do they? My Shepherd freaked out at the end too. He was a White German Shepherd, but in terms of frame and coat length he looked a lot like yours. He resisted and kicked around and ended up with blood running down his white fur. It took minutes to get the syringe in. He lost consciousness pretty quickly, but briefly thrashed around a little while after that before dying.
We did it at our house, and that helped him a lot. If we took him to the vet it would've been a whole lot worse.

It's a total shit hole and the only clean room in the house is my bedroom. I used to clean up regularly but I gave up because he never kept up with it and it would be a mess a couple days later.
It's not like clutter, it's just everything is dirty and dusty. The floor is fucking disgusting and he never, ever wipes any surfaces. Doesn't help that he smokes about 30 fags a day. How does one even begin to get on bennies? I've been to see two GPs and a psychiatric nurse about muh brain problems and got palmed off every time. that's why its called the support group.
WRAG is for people who have problems and then the person at the job center sees what courses or help are available to help ease you back into work.
Im currently in the wrag but feel im in the wrong group as I have le fucking problems and am on waiting list for long term support.
but since my review comes up in june im just waiting and will apply to change groups then.
