Oh I see. My parents both passed away when I was relatively young, but my father was the senior Vice President of a major health insurance company and because of that was quite wealthy.

Enjoy the best of both worlds (parents and money) while you can, my man.

The cliche is that even though his parents are alive he never sees them.

Idk if that's true though.

Lol... what use is money if you don't have a name attached to it?

I'm literally descended from high nobility, new money pleb.
>>
>>26665189

Is there pressure on you to perform certain duties once you're of age? (Say, take over the family business, get a degree in a specific field or perhaps marry someone from an equally wealthy family)

What have your parents done to make sure you manage your money well? Who handles investments on their part?

Do you have any siblings or close relatives who may also have a stake in the will?

Why aren't you in a private school right now, double majoring and paying multiple tutors to hand-hold you through all your classwork?

What, in your opinion, makes you a "robot"? How come you haven't fixed it with money?

Do you have any "poor" friends?

How do you watch Bloomberg TV without cable? I'm trying out cord cutting and it's honestly the cable channel I miss the most.

there's not a lot of pressure. a real estate company directly manages the properties and my dad just gives them permissions and such. it's not a really difficult job and i''ll be able to handle it.

my mom is a spendthrift and horrible with money, i guess my dad enforced modesty with money in me for a while. i don't buy many things.

no siblings, no close relatives. there's no family besides me and my dad on his side.

i don't see a need to go to college and am currently an aimless neet

>>

Why not go to college and learn about something that interests you? Work at something you find appealing? Being in a position where you don't have to work for money is a really lucky hand you've been dealt, but if you apply yourself to something constructive you'll probably be a lot happier than a NEET who sits around all day.

Being financially independent isn't about never doing anything, it's about never NEEDING to do anything

>>
>>26665189

Bro if you're really a robot and can't get laid, hire a qt high end hooker for a year of girlfriend experience service. You can bang her anytime you want and if you're lonely you'll have company. If you want time alone you can tell her to get lost and if you want to travel you'll at least have a companion and it won't be as lonely.

She'll probably stick around when the times up either to try marry into your money or because she genuinely likes you, but even a whore as a companion is better than being alone. Pick a girl that's new in the business and only like 18.

I'm jealous, you're lucky that you can travel and get sex whenever you want, those are pretty much the 2 things I want in life :/

You seem to really have something against your mom. Do you feel she is/was just a "trophy wife" for your dad?How did they meet?
>i don't see a need to go to college and am currently an aimless neet
That saddens me anon. You have more opportunities open to you than 99% of other people your age and you squander it. I'd be in school for life is money allowed. Instead I work, save money for a semester, go to school, then work again. I've tried doing both simultaneously, but I can't into time management. Can't borrow, nobody will lend me money here Surely there's something you have an interest in?
>i don't have any friends and am a khv. i haven't fixed it because i don't see a point in escorts
I didn't mean to suggest you paid for companionship. It's just that, I think if I were you I'd attend some seminars or pay for coaching on how to better my mannerisms and speech to project more confidence and fake empathy. At the very least try different hobbies and take part in teams/clubs/meets and interact with people with common interests.
>i don't watch any tv directly

Solo travel is absolutely not sad. Probably half of the people you meet in hostels in Southeast Asia or Europe are traveling by themselves and everyone is looking to meet people and hang out and go sightseeing or partying. I'm literally autistic (like diagnosed Asperger syndrome, socializing is hard) but putting myself outside of my comfort zone and meeting people from all over the world did wonders for my confidence.

If partying and drinking with strangers isn't your style, there are still some gorgeous natural and artificial places out there in the world. Go see Angkor Wat or the Hagia Sofia; go to Svalbard and see the Northern Lights; go to Morocco and ride a camel out into the Sahara Desert; go to the Galapagos Islands and go scuba diving and help hatch baby tortoises. You have all the resources to have experiences that 99.99% of people will never have, might as well give it a shot.

Buy a one-way ticket somewhere and if you decide you don't like it, what the fuck do you care? You've got the money to go back the next day if you want.

>>
>>26665952

It triggers my linguistics autism that you can't spell it in the original Greek. Any Latinization is gonna fuck it up some but you're correct that Hagia Sophia is the most common one, and that it's consistent with its use of the h.

Well then what HAVE you thought about doing when you travel? I'm probably putting the cart before the horse by rattling off places that interest me, so narrow down what you're interested in to some combo of:

History?
Museums?
Nature?
Beaches?
Diving, snorkeling?
Wildlife?
Food?
Prostitutes?
Nightlife?
Festivals?
Islands?
Renting yachts, speedboats, ATVs?
Adventure tourism, skydiving, bungee jumping?
Cities?
Rural areas?

And if you come back right after you leave your dad is gonna think you tried something and failed, which is a hell of a lot less shameful than never trying at all.

Another trust fund baby reporting in, though I'm a bit lower on the totem pole than some of the other posters. Family fortune around $10m, of which I stand to inherit 3-4 depending on various factors.

Parents have done a lot for me, elite private school, covered my university fees, bought me 2 cars, covered half my rent for the first year after I moved out, bought me a lot of nice furniture and set me up with my first job through connections. Plus I have travelled the world and eaten some of the best food on the planet.

What I will miss out on is knowing if I could have made it on my own.

Everything I ever achieve will be undermined by the thought that I was only able to do it because I had a head start.

In general I am happy, there are things I want to change in my life, but I'm making progress in most of them. And career wise I'm doing exactly what I want to do.

I don't think it has negatively affected me, but it has definitely isolated/alienated me from a lot of my peers. Also I am a snob about some things, and that makes less fortunate people insecure.

I once spent around $500 making a camwhore say degrading things about herself.

Porn subscriptions in general.

I bought a ton of pleb comics and anime and nerdy memorabilia stuff during highschool that I hate now.

A wii u.

When I was a fatfuck I bought bags an bags of candy on Amazon and then ate a 5lb bag of gummy worms in two days. I threw the stuff away and then got a power rack so that was pretty good.

Mostly just little petty things that I've ended up getting rid of. The big things, like my car or my computer, I really like.

So you live in an area full of technological minded people eager for money. Easy. Buy a startup, or at least join one. Like the fat guy in Silicon Valley. You don't HAVE TO do anything in the company but you CAN if you feel like it. Your money ensures a good role in the company and you always will have chance to build something with your ideas or your two hands.
You can do this with as little as a couple tens of thousands of dollars and build the company up a level where you need a bigger investment. At that point either you remain a small fish beside a bigger VC invester or get a small loan a million dollars from dad and be the man at the company.

Would you donate to a high school solely so the school uniform would be changed to latex if you had a latex fetish?

Maybe.
If I really didn't care about money I'd like a giant statue.

Unfortunately the Spring Temple Buddha cost 55mil and we don't have that laying around.

I actually haven't seen very much anime, I've just been watching it a lot recently.

I've liked NGE and Ping Pong the Animation a lot.

$200-300k trustfund manchild here. I only spend like $15k/year funding my NEET life, and most of it is locked up for another 4 years. When I gain access to all the assets and can cash out and move it elsewhere I can have it managed better, how to go about turning it into the low millions until its enough to make $40k/year sustainable passive income so I can enjoy a reasonably comfortable life and never have to work.
>>
>>26669061
you should invest in real life eva with all that money :^) bring about the end of the world, senpai

how old are you?

No way she makes it to 35 though.

I'm not going to pretend to know a lot about stocks, I just know my dad got 12% return on his investments last year and he doesn't do them himself.

You are doing it wrong if you can't get at least 30%.

Markeds declined in January and first two weeks in February and rallied since Feb 12. Some sectors lost 25-50% and gained 10-15% in the rally. You have to take advantage of these declines and rallies with leveraged ETFs. Never go long. You will lose all your gains that way.
>>
>>26669715
I will destroy you first.

>>26670267
Averaging 13% annually is a pretty realistic expectation with a good manager.

A hedge fund averaging 30% would be outperforming by far.
