Go on ebay and type usb microscope. It's the one with a silver stand. This one is labeled 50-500x and it was about $12 with free shipping from china. It's decent. The wheel to zoom makes the image shift around a whole lot and it's very difficult to keep steady but for $12 it's good enough.

I guess the sensor used in that "micro" 360noscope is just so immensely cheap/small/bad that it takes absolutely 0 advantage of the maybe even decent optics.
Pic related, made this with my Nokon d5100 and a cheap-ass 35mm lens, just assured that the space between camera body and lens was balanced enough for steady focus, lighting was a bit challenging but anyone with a system camera can do these photos
