I don't care about being effay or haute. I just wear simple pieces that I think go well together.
I'm not into fashion but I care a lot about how I look and what I wear so I research a lot before every buy. I'm sure most intelligent people do cause it makes a huge difference in your life to look above average.
i'm into fashion alot but i personally look like shit, i baely care for myself at all and 90% of my wardrobe is h&m/zara-tier printed tshirts from years ago...
I'm building a pretty decent preppy wardrobe though.

Fashion is literally a money game. You pay for nice stuff that you see advertised on internet boards like /fa/ and other shitholes.
There is no art to it, no skill, no nothing. Its literally just about looking good and paying money for the latest trendy shit.
And to top it all off, those things will go out of style within the next few years anyways. So repeat ad nauseum forever.
