I live in rural South. Internet here is so shit I miss the dialup I had before. I mean it's great when I don't need to use it, I've torrented at 140+kb/s before. The second I try to post on 4chan or email a document to myself I get a million shit fucked up notifications and spend 30 minutes retrying. I now use my phone for shitposting and sending documents. I think the isp knows when I need Internet. My parents even watch Netflix sometimes and it only has to buffer 3 or 4 times an episode.
I'm moving to Chattanooga TN once I finish school. Lightning fast Internet and downtown apartment for only $1.5k-ish a month. I'm going to be the hipster fuck who drinks beer and gin and eats local and sustainable restaurants and rides bikes everywhere. I love the country but I'll hold out until they fix the data shortage before I return. Fortunately there is lovely land with water just 30 minutes out of Chattanooga to buy once I'm ready.
