He doesn't make that much money. Average monetization is about $2 every thousand views. The majority of his vids have less than 5,000 views with a few anomalies such as his average day video and his water review(a fucking classic desu). So we can say on average he maybe makes $10 a video. Don't get me wrong, this isn't bad, but if this is his only income(which I suspect it is if you don't include what his parents give him) it's silly to look at what he does and act like he's rolling in dosh.
I'd be happy to pull in that kind of cash on the side as beer money or something, but he's probably making less than someone who works a minimum wage job off of just those videos alone.
I could be entirely wrong though, maybe he will show up in this thread and shed some light on how he bankrolls his operation. I personally think he's in a prime position to capitalize on this shit. He's got a brand now and a pretty loyal following, myself included. He should take his reviewing talents and start reviewing other shit.

Overall, though, I really like filthy Frank. He's relatable, says what's on my mind, offers some laughs, and I like the characters and the stories. He's very aware of his fanbase, and instead of getting butthurt about it, he works with it.
