Ayes Deniz is a pianist that composes work loosely based on/ kind of tributes to other artists. Her Pink Floyd tribute is fantastic and she's just released a Kurt Cobain tribute. It doesn't really sound anything like Nirvana, it reminds me a lot more of Trent Reznors score work, but I am enjoying it.
That new Venetian Snares album. It's aight. I love the sound of those old analogue synths but idk it didn't blow me away or anything. Those weird time signatures he uses get tiring after a while as well. Enjoyable though.
