Your nose will be sore as fuck for about a week after the surgery. Don't be surprised by the amount of whiteheads, blackheads, and general acne on your nose (which you won't be able to pop) after the bandaging comes off.

My nose was legit clear of black heads for 6 months and I'm acne prone.
But yeah it will be numb and swollen for 1-2 years. It won't be perfectly symmetrical at first due to the swelling so if you hate it, don't worry it should settle and be good.

I forgot to mention you're might get a lot of random nose bleeds, you'll have so much shit flowing through your system don't be surprised if you can't fall asleep, you're gonna be throwing up bile (due to all the anesthetic they give you).

I was an alien after a month still. I started looking normal at 2 months. Everyone is different though, I knew a girl who looked pretty much solid after a week. The doctor said the bruises go away after two weeks but mine lasted a month. Everyone is different but honestly just get some coverup if the bruises last that long. And arnica cream for the swelling.

I never threw up but I couldn't sleep well either the first week. I had to ask my doc for Xanax which really helped though, he prescribed a lot of fun painkillers for me.
