Can we have a grapefruit thread?
I feel like this fruit is really under appreciated.
who /deenz/ here??
What about them do you want to talk about?

Just post pictures, discuss methods of consumption, debate types, etc.

peeling these fuckers are a hassle, but they are pretty good
probably my favorite fruit.
u like them with sugar or no sugar?
>>26632843
yeah grapefruits are great, the darker ones are smaller but better imo. I miss living in the south because even though its hot as hell it makes for great weather to grow tasty, obscure fruit

Why add sugar to them? they're sweet enough to me
>>26632973
I cut em' up. And it depends on the grapefruit, some are more bitter than others.
For awhile I used to eat Grapefruit every day for breakfast. Would cut it and half, and scoop it out with a spoon.
I can't eat it without sugar though.
here's another grapefruit

>discuss methods of consumption
I actually hate eating grapefruit themselves, they're too fucking bitter and taste horrible. BUT I do enjoy beverages made out of grapefruit, probably because there's enough of other ingredients that it makes it taste less shit.

Really? What kind of grapefruits do you get? Cause it sounds like you got some bad ones
>>26633164
The ones from the local grocer?
I didn't know there were classifications of grapefruit I guess.

My mummy always cut them and sugared them for breakfast. We would buy big sacks of them at a time
I ate them all the time because I was afraid of getting scurvy as a kid

I don't really remember. I've kind of eaten them ever since I was a kid. My mom couldn't eat them cause of some medication she was on, so I'd always have them at my dad's house. I'd eat them a lot when I'd come home from school.

I like it. was drinking pink grapefruit lemonade earlier this week. also, it's pretty popular in vitamin drinks and what not.

You are wrong. Grapefruit is VASTLY, VASTLY OVERappreciated. There is absolutely nothing redeemable about it but Vitamin C.
