Around four years I think. It was in a smaller gym back when I lived home so the fees were a lot smaller. Now that I live in a bigger city they are more expensive and the group sizes in practices would be huge. I liked it back when it was around 20 people max.
Last summer I actually met this one girl from my judo class. She wanted to take a match against me on the grass. We were both a little drunk and I lost since she was the national women bronze medalist but I fell in love for those 15 minutes.

And I used to be pretty good. Held practices for the younger kids, that was a lot of fun. I have never had to punch anyone thanks to judo, and I have been in multiple brawls and fights. Just get drunk assholes to come at me and suddenly they are on the ground with me on top and I have nothing to worry about from them. Feels nice to be able to not get your ass kicked.
