Anyone here with professionally diagnosed depression?
The meds don't fucking work, do they? I've been taking them for weeks now. Absolutely no change at all besides an increased apetite, which I'm not sure I should give the meds prop for or something else.
Can't change where you're at familia.
Best med is dropping everything and starting over somewhere else.
Seroquel, geodon and prozac didn't help much.
Just made me numb and fat.
The depression will never leave you by the way, you just make room for it and fill the rest with what you want your life to be. It'll always be there but it doesn't have to be this bad.
You'll ignore me, but hopefully in time you'll see that your life is in your own hands and you can change your situation.

yeah, I got diagnosed 4 years ago. put on prozac and xanax, they didn't so shit except make me gain 30 pounds. I stopped taking them a few years ago
Are you only on meds or also going to therapy? Both of them take a while to find out what works and what doesn't and both greatly benefit from having the other.

All you need is money, and not too much to get started. You just need to get a job where you go and do what the rest of the people on earth do. Staffing agencies are usually filled with robot jobs to get started but you'll need to work for anything better in life.

Yah, they offered me meds but i said no, already have a nice drug problem dont need any more pills thanks. Now they make me go to drug addiction therapy sessions :|

it's a normie kind of solution
normies have inherent energy and internal motivation, and they're very novelty-seeking. It makes sense that if they feel a bit blue or in a rut they'd move somewhere else just to change things. It doesn't make much sense for us, though, not at all.

90% of therapists/psychiatrists are incredibly biased and will egg you on and basically force you to say you have symptoms of depression. always get a second, third, even fourth opinion since you really can't trust most "diagnoses"
