In my line of work I associate with a lot of high quality men (successful entrepenuaers and small business owners, inventors, CEOs, etc.) and I have literally never come across any of them who have bought into this "the past is the past" thing. I'm pretty sure disregarding a woman's promiscuous past is solely a low quality male trait. If you said something like the guy in your picture said out loud at any of the dinners or lunch breaks with the guys I work around you would be laughed out of the room.
