Nitrogen is like cold fractionated from air, and nitrogen tanks are used in paintball, adding the "head" to Guinness beer, industrial supply, etc.
It's simply taking the popular helium tank suicide method, but using nitrogen instead. And with a regulator, the flow of air should be tested first, you don't just immediately put your mouth on it.
You could also fill up an air-tight chamber with nitrogen and get into it. The only problem with that is if CO2 builds up in the chamber from you exhaling, since a buildup of CO2 causes a panic response in mammals (the feeling you get when you hold your breath for as long as possible). With a mask, you exhale CO2 and inhale nitrogen and you drift off to sleep and die.
Nitrogen is literally the most humane way to die.
