I have studied International Relations for years. Please take your time to read this.
Turkey believes it has the upper hand in Syria. Turkey believes that Russia is afraid of NATO and would not risk war with NATO over this region. Turkey reaffirmed this position when they shot down that Russian jet.
Russia believes they have the upper hand in this region. They believe that NATO would not risk a world war over something like Syria. They believed they were safe to do as they pleased seeing how America has been delivering weak responses to other global skirmishes.
If Turkey enters Syria, they will most certainly get into a conflict with the Syrian government as President Assad vowed to send back Turkish and Saudi troops in coffins. Russia is actively supporting Assad with the military right now.
If Turkey and Russia get it on, either Article 5 is invoked and all of NATO attacks Russia, or Turkey is kicked out of NATO and NATO is seen as a paper tiger. It'd be open season on NATO nations.
Get ready. Turkey has already crossed the border into Syria. You can't stop it, they've just begun.
Finally, I can find peace when the world goes out in ablaze.
NATO wouldn't risk a war over sand people, especially if Trump is elected.

Ah well, maybe it's best to reset the clock. Humanity has been pretty silly lately.
Also, why don't I see any /pol/ threads up? If the end is nigh the happening should be plastered everywhere

Check out the Syria General threads. Russia has also vowed to strike Turkey if they enter Syria.

If the bombs drop I'm 99% fucked. Right in the middle of several high value targets.
Maybe I should run for the nearest shelter. Shit has been escalating for over a decade

As seen in 1962, tomorrow they could agree to pull out and all will be well again. But as seen in 1914 and 1939, it could very well go the other way. It'd be the safest thing to seek shelter till this blows over. You may get strange looks, but you'll see who's laughing when the bombs fall. No more normies ever again.

I'll see what I can do. I've been trying to warn my relatives but they just blow me off as a retarded conspiracy theorist.

Good luck to you my friend. They'll see.

If this turns out to be true I'll be upset because I never got to join the royal marines
>>26617134
Are you seriously claiming you've studied international relations for years? Article 5 can't be invoked unless Turkey is attacked in Turkey. They can't invoke it if they're attacked in Syrian territory uninvited.

That would require Russia being the aggressor. If Turkey does something NATO just let it crash and burn
