Never played GO, but as an old 1.6 player who dabbled with modded servers with DM for a quick warm up, it's because everyone is just running around for quick kills and not really giving as much as a fuck, basically completely different gameplay styles. Even the toughest player can be easy to get in the madness on DM.

I said I was having fun, yeah? I was pubbing for a hour or so before my midterm. When I play comp I stick to D2, Cache, Inferno, Mirage and (occasionally) Cobblestone
now your at the ranks full of smurfs, then 2-3 more ranks and you hit the derankers and hackers
cs:go matchmaking is shit, just play pugs or pubs. it's full of idiots who browse 9gag and are too stupid to realise instead of deranking to vs noobs, they can go vs them on public matches.
one of derankers even said they do it to warm up, instead of playing a deathmatch which is 10x better for warming up.
game pisses me off so much now. i used to be distinguished master guardian (solo, never played in party. with party would've got higher i'd say since most games are full of people who don't know a simple mid to b smoke through doors or mid smokes on inferno etc..
