I have a 10 AM and don't have the time to go digging it out of my pile of papers, but I seriously have a "sensory diet" schedule written out that includes somersaults, brushing myself, and doing pushups and shit to fix my sensory processing and vestibular function. Can't actually claim that I'm autistic, but generally people who perceive the world the way I do and who have the motor function I do have brains wired like autistic people. I don't fit the basement-dwelling loser aspects of "robot," but I sure as hell don't think I'm really "normal" at all

I'm not a robot but I've never claimed to be... In just a guy who has had alot of problems in his life with agoraphbia, anxiety (like poop your pants scared to just leave the house and real panic attacks), and bipolar. After living the neet life for a while like 10 years ago a friend of mine died and before they died they made me promise to try in life... So I've been trying my hardest to become more content.
It's been working, I have a job I don't hate, I have a girlfriend that I wouldn't exchange for anyone and I'm pursuing creative interests.
I generally come on here to offer advice when it's asked that's better then "hurr be itself". But most of you guys get mad at me when I tell you "you've gotta be stubborn as hell and keep headbutting your anxiety. You've gotta keep trying and failing and eventually the failure won't even register. Just keep trying and maybe, just fucking maybe you might find something to make you more content."

Anytime you seek mental health services you get diagnosed for treatment and insurance purposes. Usually a working dx in the first 3 visits and a more complete one after 3 months.

I did a really long and thought out reply, but it felt loaded, so I'll just say that I don't know. As was said, traits don't make a disorder, but it's easier for a psychiatrist to label and move on I guess. It was by no means a quick transition but I have something to pin my monotone demeanour on, so I let it be.
Other than tripfags, imageboards have discussion without the need for ego or consideration for the person's personal profile unless it is made clear. I 'like' that.
