Album's coming along, going to release a single in the next couple of weeks and we have a show in April
My stage play is on its 3rd draft, and I'm currently preparing notes for my 4th draft
It's easy. I write really fast but I know it's good. The music is even easier, I have tons of lyrics written and I just wait for the rest of the band to come up with something I can make the lyrics work with

I even started making cover art. Drawing is easy too

I'm the kind of person who wants to be an artist but lacks the skill or talent to make my ideas become real. In other words, a worthless failure.
My editor died on heart attack, so publication will be in march, not now.
It's not. I can only consume media. I don't have the skills/talents or desire to learn them to create.

My songs suck, my play sucks, my drawings suck. I am pathetic, I will never have anyone truly admire my work, I will work shit jobs my whole life and I will die alone.
Do something practical. Please. For fucks sake, give up on art. If anything just consume it. I love watching movies. I want to make movies. All of my work sucks. I can't write a script for anything, let alone finish it. I'm too poor to shoot anything.

I have to become much more skilled in coding and graphic design before I can even start working on my game.
The writing, on the other hand, I'm fairly optimistic about. I've looked into it and I'm fairly certain I can get some of my short stories published. I'll probably even make a buck or two, but the important thing is name recognition and having a publication history so publishers might take a bid for a novel more seriously.

Man, listen, please. Being creative, actually creative, isn't possible. There's no such thing as art. It's all entertainment, from deep dark "patrician" films of Hungarian yaks shitting in the 1890s to the Hannah Montana movie. They're all just distractions, designed to keep us chugging along the hell of existence. Different distractions appeal to different people; noise music vs. trap shit, etc.
That said, making things that you personally enjoy is a much better way of living than being part of the machine that creativity feeds. Would you rather be a mindless drone working and watching shitty Quentin Tarantino movies or Tarantino himself? Obv he cares more about money than creating something he enjoyes, but you get the point.
There is nothing less normie than saying fuck you to real jobs and security and instead devoting your life to doing some pointless thing for no reason other than because you want to. It doesn't matter if its art, it doesn't matter if it's drifting around the world, it doesn't matter if it's sitting in a cave alone until you die.
It's still a fuck you to the dumbass faggots who don't have the balls to leave society behind. An even bigger fuck you to those who actually enjoy society.

trying to keep the sound of the album pretty close to the ep since everyone loved it. it's hard to reel in my ambition to do everything at once but goddamnit i am a professional.

I write just because it's something to think about and it's proof that time is still passing. I feel like I'm too detached from people to ever write anything good enough to share with anyone else, but it's nice to have something I hold the control over 100%.

Supposed to be teaching myself how to draw. I've got this great idea for a comic but I don't want to bother trying to draw it because my art skills are ass.
I've got tons of ideas. Just thinking about this is painful because I'll probably forget them all. It would take like 2 years to learn dick about art and get OK at it. I just don't have the drive. I can barely force myself to draw once a month. This emptyness I feel is actually soul crushing.

Are you kidding me man, art is easy.
Step 1: Obtain and install Graphics tablet
Step 2: Open art program and zoom way in. 400% is where I like it.
Step 3: The nice work is all in the detail, if it looks okay when its zoomed in, it looks great when its zoomed out.
And above all else: Refrences. Don't know how to draw an eye? go look in a mirror. Need to draw an anime eye? Go google it. That is literally it.
